Intellicare Group Chairman and CEO Mario Silos receives St. La Salle Award 2019
Intellicare Group Chairman and CEO Mario Angelo M. Silos has been honored with the St. La Salle Award 2019 by his alma mater, the University of St. La Salle (USLS).
The award is an institutional recognition given to an outstanding alumnus who has lived out the La
Sallian values of Faith, Zeal for Service, and Communion in Mission, and whose personal and
professional life exemplify the ideals of the Founder St. John Baptist De La Salle – who serve as role
models to all La Sallians.
USLS, in its letter to Mr. Silos, acknowledged with pride and deep appreciation his notable contributions to medical care services and the HMO industry as Chairman and CEO of the country’s preeminent HMO, Intellicare. His alma mater recognizes his continuing service to the larger community and the La Sallian family, and his life-testimony as the epitome of a true and outstanding La Sallian truly worthy of emulation.
Citing Intellicare’s various socio-civic initiatives such as – rehabilitation efforts for community health
centers and medical missions, “Mr. Silos has manifested his spirit of generosity and genuine concern for others by ensuring that excellent healthcare services are readily available and made affordable”,
according to USLS.
The award was presented during the 62nd Graduation Rites of the Class of 2019 on March 24, 2019 at St. La Salle Coliseum. Mr. Silos shared his personal career journey in his commencement address to the
graduating class.
